Nos Collaborations

The association Les Rencontres Artistiques de Bel-Air was born in 1994 in the house of Nicole and Dominique Chalmin, following two events: a concert with the great harpsichordist Gustav Leonhardt in 1991 and a concert in 1992 to sponsor the purchase of a bow for a promising young Chambéry violinist then aged 14: Renaud Capuçon. In 1996, he created the Les Rencontres de Musique de Chambre de Bel-Air festival, which for 15 years welcomed the greatest international chamber music soloists.

Born in Bogotá (Colombia) in 1992, Quentin Tièche grew up in Geneva where he completed his entire academic musical career until obtaining a diploma in piano and musicology from the Haute École de Musique de Genève in 2017 followed by a Master's degree in pianoforte from the same institution in 2021. Among his areas of interest are ancient instruments, particularly pianofortes and harmoniums. His repertoire is dedicated to Lied and melody which he explores with various promising young singers of his generation, notably Soumaya Hallak, dramatic soprano with whom he has formed a duo since 2018. He teaches piano and improvisation.
